4D is looking for partners that are willing to embrace an exciting business opportunity and take over the control of the 4D franchising activities in a specified territory (“4D Area”) by leveraging on our 4D Classic line of store.

The 4D Classic Store is a high end, upscale gelato and restaurant store committed to quality food and mirrors 4D main propositions: serving top notch products in a trendy and unique environment!

The 4D Classic décor integrates the look of elegant & fashionable environment with creative fixtures and will be your Flagship store in your 4D Area.

A 4D Classic store enable the presence of a high-tech laboratory that manufactures on daily basis fresh and genuine gelato and carry the wide variety of 4D products.

Once you define your 4D Area and set up your 4D Classic store you will indirectly assume the role of a Franchisor.

As we already tested in several markets, 4D seasoned and well know experience in the Gelato and Food industry coupled with your on-site presence will translate into almost instant penetration into the market, proximity to the customer, and the ability to address and satisfy the demands of the customers real time.

The typical 4D Classic store is located in a high traffic shopping center, store front location, or mall. In some cases, the Gelato store can exist in a “free standing” building.

The typical size of a 4D store range between 900 to 1,200 square feet; however we can always adapt the layout of the store accordingly to the different areas requirements.

4D’s Management will provide you with high level guidelines that will help you identifying the perfect site where to establish your 4D Classic store. We review your proposed location based on population density, traffic patterns, accessibility of the location and the location’s proximity to traffic generators such as other businesses.

The initial term of the exclusive Area Agreement will be of 10 years.

Subject to 4D management approval, 4D will grant the Master franchisee the right to third-party operations within your exclusive 4D Area.

After the final agreements are signed and you’re the exclusive owner of a 4D Area, it can take approximately 5 to 7 months to open your business.

This timeline can vary depending on the time necessary to obtain all the business licenses and permits and finalize the leasehold improvements necessary to set up your store in order to comply with 4D interior design standards.

4D will provide:

1) Pre-opening Training – Our operational team will make sure that you are ready to prepare and serve 4D products and run your exclusive 4D Area from day one!

2) Post opening Assistance - Upon the opening of your store, we will provide a dedicated team to stay on site and guide you through your first month of operation.

3) Ongoing support from 4D’s staff - We want you to feel confident with your daily operations; guidance and support are never more than a phone call or email away. In addition you will receive on a constant basis operational updates from our Franchise development team and on-site support.

Of course! Our business franchise development team, by leveraging on the existing 4D vendor programs and thanks to the strong relationship developed with leading companies in the gelato’s industry, will be able to provide you with all the consumables and equipment necessary to run the gelato store at preferred market conditions.

The ultimate cost is determined by the size of the Area that you are looking to acquire. The total start-up investment should range from $300,000 to $450,000. Such estimates include the gelato display cabinet equipment, pastries equipment, laboratory equipment, leasehold improvements (if necessary) and start up inventory amongst others.

The scenario above reported does not include the Master franchise fee. Such fee will be evaluated and determined on a case by case basis depending on the size, population density and macroeconomic environment of the selected Area.
